Size Guide
Last updated: July 24, 2026
General US sizing charts for our tops, jeans, and sneakers, plus how to measure so you can order the right size the first time.
Before you start
The charts on this page are general US sizing guides. They are a good starting point, but cuts differ: a boxy crewneck and a slim long sleeve labeled "M" will not measure the same. All numbers below are in inches unless noted, and shoe sizing is given with foot length in centimeters.
The most reliable method is not to measure your body - it is to measure a garment you already own and like the fit of, then match those numbers to the chart. If a measurement lands between two sizes, read the "Between sizes?" note further down.
How to measure
Tops
Lay the shirt flat on a table or the floor, front side up. Smooth out wrinkles, line up the side seams, and do not stretch the fabric while you measure.
- Chest (pit to pit): measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other. This is a flat, half-chest number - it is roughly half of a full body chest circumference.
- Body length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam, next to the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down the outside of the sleeve to the sleeve opening.
- Shoulder: measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other, where the sleeve is attached on each side.
Jeans
Lay the jeans flat, front side up, with the legs straight and the waistband buttoned and unwrinkled.
- Waist: measure straight across the top of the waistband from edge to edge, then double that number.
- Inseam: measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the leg opening.
- Rise: measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband. A shorter rise sits lower on the hips.
- Leg opening: measure straight across the bottom hem of one leg, edge to edge. Around 6.5-7 inches reads slim, 7.5-8.5 inches reads straight, and wider than that reads relaxed.
Sneakers
Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you plan to wear with the shoes. Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark in centimeters. Measure both feet in the late afternoon, when feet are at their largest, and use the larger of the two numbers.

Women's jeans
Measurements in inches. On US women's denim the tag number is a size code rather than a waist measurement, so the finished waist typically runs about an inch larger than the number on the label.

Between sizes?
If your measurement falls between two rows, here is how we would decide:
- Tops: size up for a relaxed fit or if you plan to layer underneath, and size down if you want the shoulder seam to sit right at the edge of your shoulder.
- Jeans: go by the waist first - the inseam can be hemmed, the waist cannot. Rigid denim relaxes slightly with wear; denim with stretch does not need extra room.
- Sneakers: size up. It is better to have a small amount of room at the toe than to be a half size short.
If the size is wrong
You have 30 days from delivery to send an item back, as long as it is unworn and unwashed with the tags attached. The fastest way to swap a size is to return the item for a refund and place a new order - see our Returns & Refunds page for the full process. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Not sure which size to order? Email [email protected] with the item you are looking at and the flat measurements of something you already own that fits well, and we will tell you which size matches most closely.
